Happy Monday friends! For today’s post, I am going to be discussing productivity. Yes, even in the summer months I try and stay as productive as possible. It not only makes me feel healthier (both physically and emotionally), but busier as well.
In the summer people tend to put their legs up and enjoy the sunshine. While this isn’t the case for everyone, I know I can speak on behalf of other students and teens. One thing I have noticed about myself this summer is that if I am not keeping myself busy, I tend to feel more fatigued and unmotivated. To resolve this problem I’ve decided that for the remainder of the summer I will do at least 3 productive things. Here are a few of the things I do to stay productive and enjoy my summer!
What I do;
- Try a new hobby (painting, photography, a sport, etc)
- Organize something (anything!)
- Go somewhere you’ve never been before (it could even be just a new coffee shop)
- Make a list (of something you want to do or try- it could even be grocery shopping, anything to get you off your phone and using your brain power)
- Go on a hike
These are just a few ideas. Really, the possibilities are endless. Too many times I see people just laying around on their phone or computer and forgetting what’s actually important, being present. It not only will make you feel better to make this lifestyle adjustment, but more productive as well.
